Hi Gators!

1. Registration

Registration for our 2024 season is officially CLOSED!! We have a roster of 79 swimmers on our competitive team and 10 hatchlings.  Last week was our first week of practice at the Jerry Long YMCA.  We had a great turn out of new and returning swimmers.  We even got a rainy practice in with our 5-6 year old gators!

This week will be our last practices at our alternative locations.  Starting next Tuesday May 28th, our practices will be held at the Glenridge pool.  Please check the Practice Schedule on the website for practice times.

2.  Mock Meet 5/30

We will have a mock meet during practice on 5/30.  Declarations for the mock meet are OPEN on the team website. Please declare by Wednesday, May 29th.  Here is how to declare for a swim meet:

1st:  go to the team website http://glenridgegatorswinstonsalem.swimtopia.com and click on "Meets & Events", then select "Signup Calendar"

2nd:  Find the swim meet you want to declare for (in this case, the Mock Meet) and click on the green "Meet Entry" button.

3rd:  You will see the name(s) of your swimmers.  Click on the black "Edit" button at the bottom of the page.  You will see drop down menus for each swimmer.  Please declare whether or not your swimmer(s) will participate in the meet.  When finished, click on the black "Save" button.

4th:  Next, you must select a volunteer position.  Swim meets don't run themselves and we need lots of help!  Look for the green "Job Signup" button next to the "Meet Entry" button.  Then click on the black "Sign up for jobs" button.  Select the job or jobs that members of your family will perform at the meet and click on the black "Save Assignments" job on the bottom of the page.

3. Payment

Registration fees for the season are due.  If you have not yet paid your registration fees, please do so by next Tuesday, May 28th.  You can bring a check to me that is made payable to the Glenridge HOA or send a Venmo to @glenridgegatorswinstonsalem.  You'll see a black "G" with a green tail as the profile picture.
