Good Morning Gator Families!

Summer is inching closer every day which means our season is right around the corner!  Here are a few important announcements for the upcoming season:

1.  Practice Schedule

Thanks to the efforts of the Glenridge HOA board and our new Glenridge pool manager, we will be able to start practice this year in our home pool!  Our first team practice will be Monday, May 19th.  We will have 3 practices that week, a mock meet on May 22nd and roll right into our season with our first home meet on Tuesday, May 27th.  The season will start fast and furious!  The full practice schedule can be found on our website:  https://glenridgegatorswinstonsalem.swimtopia.com/practice-schedule

2.  Registration

Our registration will open soon!  We are working towards having a new account set up so that we can use the stripe account feature on the SwimTopia site.  This will allow registration payments to be collected at registration and make the financial collection process much more streamlined.  Registration will first open for competitive swim team only.  

3. Volunteer committee meeting

Running this team takes a lot of planning and effort and I would love to get some more parents to take on different roles and offer input and ideas on what we can do to make the summer more fun.  If you would like to be more involved in planning or helping with the swim team, please plan on coming to a meeting at my house on Sunday, April 27th at 5:00pm.  Hopefully the weather will be nice and we can all sit outside and mix in a little social time too!  Parents of younger swimmers- this is a great chance for you to get involved and learn a little more about how the team works.
