Welcome to the 2025 Season!
Hello 2025 Glenridge Gator Families!
Registration was super fast and super successful this year! Our roster is full and we have a wonderful group of returning swimmers on our competitive team! I also want to extend a big welcome to all of our new Gator families! We are excited that you are here!
First- a few introductions. My name is Karen Cuda. This is my 4th season as the head coach/team coordinator. The first of my kids started swimming at Glenridge in the summer of 2019 (right after we moved into Glenridge). I'm a USA Swimming certified coach and I have been coaching with Tyde of NWNC since 2021.
Our other coaches for the 2025 season include Addison Bloom, Jackson Hartsough, Jenna Hartsough, Sydney Stevens, Isabel Wilson, Clemmie Pace and Melynn Holmes. Chloe Cuda and Emily Stevens will be our Junior Coaches. Over the years, every one of these coaches have contributed volunteer hours for this team and have worked hard to help kids develop their swimming technique. They are all excellent swimmers, but more importantly, they are excellent kids and are wonderful role models for our younger swimmers. I'm so happy and excited to have them on deck!
Rebecca Hartsough and Keith Wilson are our team's representatives for the Greater Forsyth Swim League. Jayme Stuart will be helping to coordinate our volunteers at swim meets this year and her husband Andy will be on the speaker as our starter.
Upcoming events:
1. Volunteer meeting TODAY at 5:00pm at my house (3140 Milhaven Lake Drive, WS 27106). If you would like to be more involved in the swim team this year, learn about the swim team, share ideas or experiences, discuss activities - please come over! We need parents to help coordinate our gator pancake breakfast, end of the season party and our mock meet.
2. Practice- our first day of practice will be Monday, May 19th. Practice schedule for the season is up on our website.
Please reach out to me if you have any questions. Looking forward to our best year yet!
Gator stomp-Gator chomp!
Karen
