Good Afternoon Gator Families!

Hopefully everyone survived the wild weather of the morning!  Just when we thought we were done with school cancellations for the year, mother nature decided to throw us a curve ball.  However, I don't hear my kids complaining about a 1 day extension of spring break....

1.  2026 Glenridge Rummage Sale

If spring has you excited to clean out and purge some of your kids' items, I've got good news!  This year we are holding a rummage sale to raise money for our 2026 season!  We will be collecting donations of gently used kids' toys, baby items, sports items and a limited amount of clothing items to sell at the Glenridge community rummage sale on Saturday April 11th.  The more items we can sell, the more money we can raise!  Here is how it will work:

Item donation:  We will have 2 item drop off times:  (1) Friday, April 10th from 6p to 8p at the Glenridge pool; (2) Saturday, April 11th from 7am-9am at the Glenridge pool.

**Please note the Friday drop off time is preferable so that we have time to sort and price items prior to the sale**

Donation guidelines:  Items that are donated should be "gently used" and in good condition.  Basically, if you wouldn't buy the same item for your own child at a rummage sale, please do not give it us to try to sell.  For clothing donations, we are asking that it be name brand clothing without stains (please no Cat & Jack).

In addition to selling donated items, we will be operating a "Gator Cafe" to sell coffee, drinks and snacks during the rummage sale!  

If you don't have any items to donate but you (or your little gator) is super crafty, we welcome you to donate and sell your crafts to help us raise money!

Our goal is to raise money for the team to put towards our team banquet, team equipment (we need new backstroke flags!) and awards.  This will be a fun way for the kids to get together before the season starts!

Our wonderful coaches will be signing up to fill some of the volunteer spots but we will also need parent help too!  Also, come SHOP!!  You may find a great bargain for an item you never knew you needed!

2.  2026 Team Registration

Registration for the 2026 season will open on April 1st for all coaches, returning Gators and Glenridge residents.  On April 7th we will open registration to new members outside of Glenridge (if we have room).  Last spring we had a record turn out for the first week of registration.  In order to secure your spot, please make sure you register as soon as it opens!
