Good evening Gator families,

Hard to believe it but our summer swim season is already half over.  Although it doesn't really seem like it because we've only had one league meet.  The second half of the season will be fast and furious with our last 3 meets being at home.  For the time being, let's take it one meet at a time...

Away meet 6/16 at Old Town Club

Declarations for our meet on 6/16 at Old Town Club are due by MONDAY JUNE 15TH AT 5PM.  As the away team, we have to get our entries to the host team as soon as possible so we can try and get a quick turn around on heat sheets.  Please double check the volunteer job assignments and refresh your memory if you signed up for a job.  We do have openings for a 7-8 parent helper and a 2nd half timer.  Jayme Stuart will make sure all volunteer jobs are filled.  Thanks to everyone that is helping out!  Having plenty of volunteers will help to ensure that the meet is run as quickly and smoothly as possible.  If you are the parent of a child that is 8 and under, it never hurts to have extra hand with your kids to make sure all of the relays are lined up.  The first few events of a swim meet are always the most confusing- especially when the kids are in a new place.  

Myself and Keith Wilson will not be at the swim meet on Tuesday.  Jayme Stuart and Allison Stratmann will be filling in as the league reps for our team.  Sydney and the other coaches will be on deck helping the kids.  If you need anything, please let them know.  I have not received any specific meet information from Old Town but when I do I will pass it along.
